ACCESSIBILITY IN MUSEUMS
LONG HOUSE
KASSARI MUSEUM HOUSE
- The exhibition rooms on the first floor of the Long House (Pikk Maja) can easily be accessed by a wheelchair or baby carriage / stroller that is up to 85 cm wide.
- There is a ramp leading to the museum entrance. Indoors, it is possible to use ramps for moving between the rooms on the first floor.
- The exhibition room on the second floor can only be accessed by a staircase. There is no elevator in the building.
- There is an accessible toilet, equipped with a baby changing table, in the Long House.
- It is allowed to visit the museum with a guide dog.
- A person with a disability who is younger than 16 years and their accompanying person can visit the museum free of charge. A person with a disability who is 16 years old or above that and their accompanying person can visit the museum with a discount. An ID proving the disabled status is required to use the free entry or the discount.

- All exhibition rooms in all houses are on the first floor. The thresholds in the houses and at the entrances are high; and there are no ramps.
- The majority of the visit to the Mihkli Farm Museum takes place outdoors and is thus influenced by the weather conditions. During a rainy season, the ground may be soft. In wintertime, snow is usually not shovelled in the farmyard.
- The Mihkli Farm Museum does not have an accessible toilet or baby changing table.
- It is allowed to visit the museum with a guide dog.
